DevFest Davao Speaker Profiles

Aileen Apolo

Aileen leads the Outreach program for Southeast Asia. She develops and implements programs to help grow the internet eco-system which includes gDays and community development. Prior to doing Outreach work she was country consultant for the Philippines of Google for 5 years. She holds an MBA from De La Salle University, Philippines and degrees in AB-Political Science and BS- Legal Management from the same university. Outside of work she loves to blog and cook.  Aileen starts up GDG DevFest Davao with a Keynote.

Jerome Locson

Jerome is the Program Manager for Google Access Programs for Edu in the Philippines.  He follows Aileen with a talk about his work during the Plenary Session.





Eric Clark Su

Eric is the Co-founder and product lead on Lifebit - a social network around turning life into a game. Currently in public beta for the iOS and Android, Lifebit has won awards locally and in China, Singapore and France and gearing up for a commercial launch in December. Look out for Eric's talk, "Startups the Marvel Comics Way" in the Plenary.


Inaki Narciso

A recent BSCS graduate at USEP with a passion for games. He is the Android team lead and iOS developer at Lifebit. Developing the game layer for life itself. He is co-presenting with Viktor Calonia - a recent addition to the team.  Inaki and Viktor's topic, "How We Hacked Android Development with Lifebit", is featured in the Breakout Sessions.


Rolly Rulete

Rolly has 8 years experience in software engineering and development both in web and mobile apps under his belt, specializing in mobile application development.  Currently, he maintains development of the multi-awarded mobile app DOST Project NOAH app for Android. He is also the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Angelhack winner PageSnapp.  Rolly touches on Google Maps API for Mobile in the Breakout Sessions.

John Naranjo

John is the CEO and founder of Ingenuity, a software development and offshore outsourcing company based in Davao City, Philippines. His company's goal is to deliver well-engineered, relevant software services and products that make customers happy and businesses successful.  John will speak about "Career Hacks: Applying the principles of Agile and Lean to Career Building" in the Plenary Session, while his team composed of Jan Chua, Mancio Basoc and June Millan will tackle Angular JS, Google App Engine and other technologies in the afternoon sessions.

Franz Sarmiento

Franz is a Google Student Ambassador who hails from Bacolod, Negros Occidental. This kid drops by Davao City as a Speaker and Volunteer!  Watch out for Franz's talk in the afternoon: "Google+ Sign In".
